Huntsman Cancer Institute
A national cancer institute designated cancer center.
Huntsman Cancer Institute relies on the generosity of the community. We need Foundation donors like you to help create a place for healing and hope. Your gift to Huntsman Cancer Foundation helps us provide for the mission of the Huntsman Cancer Institute, which is to understand cancer from its beginnings,
to use that knowledge in the creation and impartment of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to educate the public about cancer risk, prevention, and care.

Three Reasons to Give:

  1. Our scientists, including 2007 Nobel Prize winner Mario Capecchi, PhD, are internationally renowned for their breakthroughs in transgenic research.
  2. HCI houses and manages the largest, most comprehensive genetics database in the world, and more cancer genes have been identified by HCI scientists than at any other cancer research institute.
